Video game shows off new Astros uniforms

Via Pastapadre comes a look at the new Houston Astros uniforms. The Astros went back in time a bit, with the new uniforms being a re-do of a previous version of the team's duds. The uniforms were unveiled last weekend but this is a good look at each of the styles the Astros will wear when they move to the American League, from the MLB 13: The Show videogame.

Video: Texas high schooler's awesome coast-to-coast missed FG return for TD

Texas high school football player Sean Landez returns a missed field goal attempt for a touchdown in this clip from Bob's Blitz, via The Big Lead. While that may not seem spectacular on its own, add in that Landez catches this ball over his head, tip toe-ing the end line to stay in bounds, and then breaks loose for the basically 110 yard scramble and you've got yourself a pretty good play.

Shameless Plug: Check me out at The Knicks Wall

If you're interested in reading my thoughts on the New York Knicks, as well as those of 11 other fine writers, be sure to check out The Knicks Wall, one of the best (and best looking) Knicks sites on the web.

I'll be one of the contributors at TKW this season, sharing my insights about the Knickerbockers. Aside from great articles and recaps from the site's staff, you can also find excellent Knicks wallpapers for your desktop and mobile devices.

My first article - Knicks Win With Smarts, As Well As Talent - about Friday night's victory over the Heat is up now.
