NFL Power Rankings: Week 5 edition

The Giants and Colts stay at the top after Week 4 victories, with the Broncos and 49ers making big gains in this week's NFL Power Rankings.

TOP TIER
1. Giants (4-0) [1]
2. Colts (4-0) [2]
3. Vikings (4-0) [4]
4. Saints (4-0) [5]
5. Broncos (4-0) [10]
6. Ravens (3-1) [3]
7. Patriots (3-1) [7]
8. Falcons (2-1) [8]
9. Eagles (2-1) [9]
10. Bears (3-1) [12]
11. Jets (3-1) [6]
12. 49ers (3-1) [18]
13. Bengals (3-1) [14]

The Broncos moved up five spots after beating the Cowboys, proving to many non-believers (like me) that they are much better than we thought... The Jets fall five spots after Mark Sanchez looked like the rookie that he is in New Orleans... The Niners move back up six spots after their heartbreaking loss to the Minnesota Favre's in Week 3. Their defense is absolutely dominating right now.

SECOND TIER
14. Steelers (2-2) [17]
15. Chargers (2-2) [13]
16. Cowboys (2-2) [11]
17. Cardinals (1-2) [16]
18. Texans (2-2) [21]
19. Jaguars (2-2) [22]
20. Packers (2-2) [15]
21. Dolphins (1-3) [23]

The Steelers held off the Chargers just long enough to get a win on Sunday night... The Cowboys drop after another sloppy game. This time they weren't lucky enough to be playing the Panthers.

THIRD TIER
22. Bills (1-3) [20]
23. Titans (0-4) [19]
24. Lions (1-3) [24]
25. Redskins (2-2) [26]
26. Seahawks (1-3) [25]
27. Panthers (0-3) [27]
28. Raiders (1-3) [28]
29. Chiefs (0-4) [29]
30. Rams (0-4) [30]
31. Buccaneers (0-4) [31]
32. Browns (0-4) [32]

It looks like it's going to be just another miserable season for the Buffalo Bills... The Titans are officially in the Third Tier after coming out of the gate 4-0. Might they want to throw Vince Young out there and get him some playing time?
