A few Friday afternoon links: Michael Crabtree, Olympic additions, ESPN

- Michael Crabtree already has a lot of work to do after missing all of camp, the preseason and San Francisco's first four games. But he has even more work to do because, according to 49ers offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye, he only ran two routes in his collegiate career. It will be a little harder than that in the NFL, Michael.

- Golf and rugby have been added to the slate of Olympic games for 2016 and 2020. Rugby hasn't been played in the Oympics since 1924. The rugby setup will feature a 12-team tournament for both men and women, while golf will see a 72-hole stroke-play event with a field of 60 players each for men and women.

- I hate to continually rag on ESPN, especially after I was featured on their "Blog Buzz" segment on this morning's SportsCenter, but The Onion really grilled them today in this article entitled, "ESPN Completely Misses Brett Favre Vs. Green Bay Packers Storyline". The link comes via our friend Bob Mantz of Bob's Blitz.
