Kurt Rambis set to become new Timberwolves head coach

The Minnesota Timberwolves have lured Lakers assistant coach Kurt Rambis away from Los Angeles with a four-year deal believed to be worth over $8 million. It has been often rumored in this offseason that Rambis would succeed Phil Jackson on the Lakers' bench, and that Jax would even allow Rambis to coach some road games.

But the amount of money and the ability to take over a team now was too much for Rambis, who inherits a Minnesota team that has failed to impress lately. They have a lot of young players, which is an ideal situation for a new head coach.
