David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez tested positive for steroids in 2003

All the Red Sox fans who think their World Series victories in 2004 and 2007 were pure and innocent, unlike those evil Yankees, might want to rethink that.

The New York Times has learned that David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez were among the players that tested positive for steroids in 2003. Those names, like that of Alex Rodriguez, were supposed to remain anonymous.

Is this really a shock to anyone? David Ortiz was so bad that the Minnesota Twins released him, then he signed with the Red Sox and turned into a home run monster and one of the most clutch hitters of all time. Ramirez tried to deny that he did anything wrong when he tested positive for a women's fertility drug earlier this year, but it looks like we now know what we all thought: That Manny, too, was a juicer.
