After drawing interest from several teams, including the Tennessee Titans, free agent wide receiver Torry Holt will be a Jacksonville Jaguar when the 2009 season begins.
Holt agreed Monday to a three-year deal for a base salary of $13 million over the length of the contract. There is no signing bonus, but the first year of the deal is guaranteed. With bonuses, the pact could be worth almost $20 million.
While the Titans were in hot pursuit of Holt, it isn't certain which other teams came calling. The Giants and Eagles are two teams that have often been brought up when discussing wide receivers, but perhaps those organizations will focus on the draft or the trade route to improve their wideout situations.
