According to ESPN, the Titans have been granted permission by the Arizona Cardinals to speak to Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Anquan Boldin. Tennessee apparently offered a second-round pick in Saturday's draft and a player-to-be-named, which has piqued the interest of the Arizona front office.
Earlier today the Cardinals said they would lower their expectations in terms of what other teams would offer for Boldin and many teams had jumped back into the mix, including the Giants, Jets and Eagles.
Many of those teams have been somewhat turned off by the demand of a $9 million per year contract extension for Boldin by Rosenhaus. Money is, after all, what started this whole mess in the first place.
If the Titans can snag Boldin, though, it will be a nice boost to their receiving corps, which already added Nate Washington this offseason.
