LA Dodgers finally get their Manny
With seemingly no other team willing to pay him more than $45 million over two years, Manny Ramirez finally came to terms on a contract with the Dodgers Wednesday.
Ramirez invigorated the Los Angeles lineup last season and led them to the playoffs. Say what you want about "Man-Ram," but even when he half-asses it he's still one of the best in the game.
Manny is trying to put a positive spin on the waiting game he and agent Scott Boras played, as evidenced by this column from TJ Simers of the LA Times.
