Wizards fire head coach Eddie Jordan

After a 1-10 start, the Wizards have fired coach Eddie Jordan, replacing him with Ed Tapscott, the former Director of Player Personnel.

Washington's rough start could be attributed to the absence of Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood, but Wizards higher-ups had no sympathy for the man who led the team to the playoffs in each of the last four seasons.
