Syracuse AD finally realizes something's wrong, fires Robinson

Sunday, November 16, 2008

It only took the better part of four years, but Greg Robinson is finally out as the Syracuse football head coach. Robinson led Syracuse to an unimpressive 9-35 record, which included only three wins in Big East play.

Syracuse has been rumored to be interested in ex-Raiders coach Lane Kiffin since early in the season, but he has since been linked to the Tennessee job. My guess is he would rather go to Tennessee, where three losses is a bad year, than Syracuse, where three wins is like a national title victory.
