Six Picks for Sunday - Week 13

After two solid weeks out of The Rooster and I, we’re back to pick the six toughest games from Week 13’s Sunday schedule, according to the Vegas odds.

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Bucs – Bucs
Carolina Panthers @ Green Bay Packers – Packers
New York Giants @ Washington Redskins – Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots – Patriots
Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders – Raiders
Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings – Vikings

The Saints threw up a nice 51-point performance Monday night but have been one of the most inconsistent teams this season. The Bucs ‘D’ should be able to contain the prolific Drew Brees just enough to squeeze out a win at home… Green Bay looked awful, getting crushed by the Saints on Monday, but the Panthers haven’t impressed me either. I’ll take the Cheeseheads at home… Every week the Giants impress us more and more, and a road win in DC will keep us in awe this weekend… The Patriots are starting to look like they did when Tom Brady was playing… The Raiders v. the Chiefs is one of the worst matchups in recent memory, but give me Oakland at home since they looked good in Week 12… I’ll take the Vikes, at home, in a huge NFC North matchup. This should be a contest of running games, with Peterson trumping Forte in the end.

The aforementioned Rooster will have his picks posted soon in the comments and, as always, feel free to join us.
