The Ithaca Bombers defeated the Cortland Red Dragons yesterday, 35-13, in the 50th annual Cortaca Jug game. The usually potent Cortland offense was held to two field goals from kicker Jeffrey Lang. Their remaining points came off a 12-yard blocked punt return. The loss drops Cortland to 9-1, but the Red Dragons are still the NJAC champions, since this was a non-conference game.
The Cortaca Jug game, dubbed by Sports Illustrated as "the Biggest Little Game in the Nation," is the yearly Cortland v. Ithaca contest, marked by exciting, hate-filled rivalry football and excessive drinking from the student bodies of both schools.
Boy, do I miss college.

I was at the game, being that I graduated from Ithaca this past may, and I agree, I miss college like crazy.
