Donovan McNabb needs a lesson in the NFL rules

The Philadelphia Eagles played to a tie with the woeful Cincinnati Bengals yesterday, after neither team could score in the overtime period. Donovan McNabb didn't quite get it, though.

You see, McNabb didn't know that games could end in ties in the NFL.
"I've never been a part of a tie. I never even knew that was in the rule book. It's part of the rules and we have to go with it. I was looking forward to the next opportunity to get out there and try to drive to win the game."
Huh? This is McNabb's 10th season in the league. Aside from that, he's the starting quarterback of an NFL team. You would think he would know the rules. But then Donovan made it worse by adding in this statement, in cocky, snarky fashion:
"I hate to see what happens in the Super Bowl or I hate to see what happens in the playoffs. You have to settle with a tie."
Actually, Donovan, they play until there's a winner in the playoffs.

UPDATE, 1:57pm: From comes video evidence of McNabb being stupid!
