Saturday looks to be a big sports day

Hurricane Ike has been wreaking its havoc for a week now, forcing the postponement of the Cubs @ Astros series this weekend, as well as many college football games and the Ravens-Texans game.

Ike also tossed some rain up the northeast, causing a lot of rain outs in last night's MLB action. So today, there are six baseball doubleheaders.

And don't forget the "Collision in the Coliseum," as ESPN has dubbed it, between Ohio State and USC. Beanie Wells won't play, but it should still be a good one. (ABC, 8:00) And don't forget the Notre Dame-Michigan matchup, featuring two programs that are falling off the map and an Irish team that barely beat San Diego State last weekend. (NBC, 3:30) But at least you can see Jimmy Clausen's flowing blond locks.
