Posada gives his "Joba-pinion" on state of Yanks

Jorge Posada thinks Joba Chamberlain is better suited as a reliever, saying so to Michael Kay while recording "Center Stage," which is set to air September 28th on the YES Network.

Joba wants to be a starter.

I think Chamberlain has the makeup and pitches to be in the bullpen, and eventually close when Mariano Rivera retires. He looked like a pretty good starter this year, too. The Yankees, though, seem so crazy about his innings limit that it seems unlikely they'll ever let him throw 200 innings. So why not leave him in the 'pen, assuming "Hankenstein" is going to open the wallet up like he says, adding CC Sabathia and who knows who else?
