Wednesday's Olympic coverage schedule

Take a look at tonight's Olympic preview from NBC:
BEIJING – August 19, 2008 – NBC's primetime coverage of the Beijing Olympics Wednesday begins at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and features live coverage of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh in the women's beach volleyball gold medal final. The USA's May-Treanor and Walsh will defend their Athens gold medal against China's Tian Jiang and Wang Jie in front of what should be a raucous home crowd. The Gymnastics Gala showcases the stars of women's and men's gymnastics of the Beijing Games as they perform their routines one last time, this time set to popular music. In track & field, the men's 200m gold medal final features USA's Shawn Crawford who looks to defend his 200m gold medal from Athens, but the "World's Fastest Man" Usain "Lightning" Bolt of Jamaica stands in his way. Also, USA's Wallace Spearmon and Walter Dix look to win gold in the event as well. In the women's 400m hurdles, Tiffany Ross-Williams and Sheena Tosta represent the USA in the finals. Also, live in primetime is the BMX gold medal finals, in it's Olympic debut.
I guess I haven't been paying attention because I had no clue BMX made it into the Olympics. The X Games were just a few weeks ago, so "action sports" fans must be pretty happy. You can also see volleyball, gymnastics and track & field.
