Culpepper, Leftwich both end up in Steeltown (Oops!)

(This article featured an inaccurate report from Sporting News that claimed both QBs had signed. I addressed it all in this post.)

Have you been wondering where Daunte Culpepper and Byron Leftwich would end up this season? Here's the answer: Both with the Steelers.

According to the Sporting News, Pittsburgh has signed both QBs to back up Ben Roethlisberger, after Charlie Batch broke his collarbone in a preseason game Friday night. The Steelers also have rookie QB Dennis Dixon on the staff, although he may be moved to another position. Mike Potts rounds out the QB group for Pittsburgh.

The stock of Leftwich and Culpepper has fallen considerably over the past few seasons, mostly due to injuries. Culpepper was an Oakland Raider last season, while Leftwich was on the awful Atlanta Falcons.
