John Smoltz Would Rather Text Than Use His Minutes
I don't understand why professional journalists get so upset with bloggers, but they're totally fine with breaking news through text message. That's what happened with Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz, who relayed word that he will be returning to the team as a reliever through that medium. The text message was sent to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and read, "I'm planning on coming back as a reliever first, and more than likely for the rest of the year." Smoltz must have a QWERTY keyboard on his phone to send that explicit text, unless his T9-word skills are better than I think.
