This comes via Awful Announcing. Joe Morgan, during Sunday's Yankees-Mets telecast, telling us what he likes about Jose Reyes' home run. Here's Morgan's quote from the video:
"You know what I like about that? He ran around the bases. He hit it... and he proceeded to go around the bases."What a unique way of going about it! Running around the bases after a home run? Great idea!
Okay, okay, I know he means that it's refreshing to see him sprint around the bases instead of a slow jog after sending one out of the park. It's when he adds, "He hit it... and he proceeded to go around the bases," that it gets a little strange. Where else was he supposed to go?
