In high school, the best athlete on the field is usually a pitcher. They can throw the hardest and most accurately and can usually hit the best as well.
I guess that's why it's no surprise that Cubs SP Carlos Zambrano went 4-for-5 at the plate and struck out six while allowing only two runs from the bump. His four-hit performance was the first by a Cubs pitcher in almost 44 years.
Zambrano is now batting .343 for the season.
